Puratos: the chocolate in our bakes
Every chocolate cake and chocolate cookie we bake starts with Belgian chocolate from
Puratos. We chose it because it is genuinely good chocolate that we can
get reliably here in Saigon, and that reliability is what lets our team in Bàn Cờ bake the same
devil’s food cake, with its one-to-one dark chocolate ganache, on a Tuesday in October as on a Saturday in June. Consistency is a quality
standard too.
If you came here looking for a chocolate cake in Ho Chi Minh City, this is the short version: real
butter, Belgian chocolate, and American-style layer cakes with chocolate ganache and buttercream.

Greenbox, Thảo Điền
Greenbox is a healthy food café in Thảo Điền that also leaves room for a little indulgence, and it
was one of our earliest friends in the neighbourhood. Greenbox carried Dulce and helped people in
Thảo Điền get to know us well before we opened our own bakery on Đường số 54. Today you will find
our cookies and lamingtons there, chosen to fit
Greenbox’s own standards.

dining space with specialty coffee, cocktails and event space, in a minimalist room with garden
surroundings at its Sơn Kim Capital home. Dulce is the bakery partner for every NOIRE location, so
